We sincerely welcome you to the International Language and Culture Education Center of Sangmyung University.

The International Language and Culture Education Center of Sangmyung University originated from the Korean Language and Culture Education Center established in March 2005, and has been providing effective education in the Korean language and culture to foreigners and overseas Koreans. Over the past 20 years since its establishment, more than 15,000 foreigners and overseas Koreans have studied Korean language and culture here, and over 1,000 Korean language teachers have been trained through our Korean language teacher training programs. In 2020, at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, our center had the largest number of enrolled students among Korean language education institutions in Korea; however, we also went through a challenging period due to the impact of the pandemic.

Now, the International Language and Culture Education Center of Sangmyung University is making a strong leap forward.
With student-centered education as our top priority, we will make every effort to ensure that all students who come to our center achieve their academic goals. Our excellent faculty, the textbooks developed by our center and widely used both domestically and internationally, and our effective teaching methods provide more than sufficient conditions to realize successful student-centered education. We invite you to pursue and fulfill your dreams of learning Korean at the International Language and Culture Education Center of Sangmyung University.
