Club Association

The Sangmyung University Club Association is an autonomous organization comprised of student clubs. It serves as an open space where club members collaborate, addressing various needs that arise during club activities and steering these activities in a more developmental direction.

Club Registration Regulation

Article 1 (Purpose)

These regulations are established to govern matters pertaining to club registration at Sangmyung University.

Article 2 (Eligibility for Club Registration)
  • Any prospective club must fulfill the following criteria to be eligible for registration.
    • The club's purpose of establishment must not contravene the provisions outlined in Chapter 13 of the university regulations, nor should it conflict with the establishment purpose of the student council.
    • The club shall be open to all students of the university.
    • The club shall comprise a minimum of 20 student members who are aligned with its founding purpose and ideals.

      However, a newly established club shall have 30 or more members meeting these criteria.

    • The membership composition specified in (3) requires student members from at least five different undergraduate programs, with a minimum of two members coming from the same undergraduate program.
    • For clubs engaged in specialized activities or those deemed as special cases, the restrictions outlined in (3) and (4) may not apply.
  • Clubs fulfilling all the requirements set forth in (1) are required to submit an annual activity plan, a member list, and club rules to the Student Affairs Office at the start of the academic year.
Article 3 (Approval of Registration)

Clubs that have completed the registration application process outlined in Article 2 shall obtain approval from the university president before engaging in any activities.
